ABOUT G-SPASE

G-SPASE PROGRAM

G-SPASE is an international education program for undergraduate and graduate students in various countries. The program aims to create personnel who can turn space infrastructure knowledge into actual social infrastructure services. (1)The University of Tokyo, (2) Keio University, (3) Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, (4) Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and (5) Graduate School of Project Design have individual distinctive area of research. The consortium provides special educational experiences.

OVERVIEW OF THE G-SPASE PROGRAM

We hold monthly tutorials and summer school. We engage in project activities and focus on building technical skills through real-life experience.

Main Domain: System design and management, space engineering, remote sensing, satellite positioning system and geographic information systems etc. Real projects with administrative or industrial organizations.

Main Partner: Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan (proximity of Tokyo)

(1) G-SPASE program design covers space/ground infrastructure, social infrastructure services and system design management, comprehensively.

(2) G-SPASE collaborates with major international/domestic universities, chief organizations and companies.

(3) We systematically organize educational materials/case studies for effective learning and turn ideas into action.
